What Do I Cook Today does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What the app stores

The app stores the following on your device only:

The dishes you add, and the cuisine tags you assign to them.
The dates on which you marked a dish as cooked.

This information is saved in the app's private storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere, and the developer has no access to it.

What the app does not do

It does not collect personal information.
It does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising.
It does not require an account or a login.
It does not connect to any server to send or receive your data.
It does not share any information with third parties.

Backups you create

The app lets you export your dish list to a file. When you do this, you choose where that file goes using your device's own share sheet — for example iCloud Drive, Files, or a messaging app. Once the file leaves the app, it is handled by whichever service you chose, under that service's own privacy policy. The developer never receives a copy.

Importing a backup reads a file you select and adds its contents to your list. Nothing is uploaded during import.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app from your device permanently erases all of its data. Because nothing is stored on a server, there is no backup to recover and no copy held elsewhere. If you want to keep your dish list, export a backup before deleting the app.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date.
